Doesn't surprise me in the least. I kind of felt that may have been told to Aranda in order to get him to stay. Short of an SEC championship or playoff appearance O might be gone anyway, and they might have told Aranda as much. He would have a much better chance moving up to the head coaching position at LSU than going to A & M and taking over for Jimbo. I really felt that even though they gave O a 3 year contract it was really a 2 year trial period and if it didn't work the way they wanted he was going to be gone. At least there would only be 1 year to buy out.
