I think they were a great first test in the playoffs. Fantastic run defense that held us to 41 rush yards. Newton who when he runs is probably one of the hardest overall QBs to gameplan for and defend. Everyone poo-pooing their weapons, Olsen and McCaffery were legit and caused us both issues at times.
Honestly, Minnesota's QB play doesn't require near the game planning. I trust Lattimore/Crawley to limit Thielend/Diggs. Honestly, the Panthers may have just as good a defense as the Vikings, except probably not quite as good secondary play.
A potential NFC champ game against the Falcons, Ryan and those WRs'/RBs are very good. If we don't keep pace with them they could outscore us. We've had the tendency to stall offensively this year.
