Joiner was probably never going to be a RB at LSU anyway. I'm willing to bet they graded him as a jumbo athlete and only tried to sell him playing RB with intentions of moving him elsewhere. That's why they cut the pursuit off. Other guys are higher on the board and have true positions.

No. We have our RBs. Curry is better than Joiner anyway and is a true RB. I doubt what the above poster said is true about Guice. It's probably more above what I said. He simply was never expected to be a RB here. It probably came down to them rather not risking limited space on an athlete they have no definite position to put in hence rating the other guys higher.
