They (the coaches of course, really Canada at the beginning of the season) wanted to run the offense that they were inclined to run, and he had his hierarchy that he felt comfortable with with Etling being at the top. With limited reps and zero PT Scott knew he really wasn't getting a fair shake and so he bounced, he went and played in an offense he felt really comfortable with and exceled in. He could have done the same at LSU had they run a similar offense.
