There is a huge difference between Pro Style offense and what LSU has run under Miles, what we ran under Miles wasn't remotely close to Pro Style, that was just run, run, pass, punt. A Pro Style offense could definitely work if it is run correctly. You don't have to run the spread to be an effective offense.
Lol, look at Michigan's pro style offense and tell me you want that shite? Nick Saban's pro style relied on extremely stout OL, big elite backs every year, and an extremely accurate game manager QB. Even then, the offense wasn't special, or explosive.
LSU needs a complete overhaul. Get rid of the pro style and start a spread immediately next year. Air Raid with a power run game, spread option, Baylor spread with the 4 WRs as far to the sideline as they can get, power spread, etc. LSU needs to go all in on passing first. I would love most to run what Clemson ran with Boyd and Watson, or what Oklahoma ran the last two years. LSU is always going to get the backs to excel in any offense, so we need to find a guy who is pass happy. A guy that throws it 30-35 times a game in a wide open offense with 4 and 5 WR sets.
Louisiana has the talent to run an offense like this every year, we just need to fricking DO IT!
