It's what a majority of streamers use to stream, but it has a recording feature. I don't think you can edit the videos using it, just record it

I've used OBS to stream and recommend it as well.
I have never recorded on it though......I've only recorded through Twitch.
Pretty sure you'll also need an HD capture card to actually go back and load it onto Youtube. You can do like 15 min videos on PS4/Xbone, but to save long periods I'm pretty sure you'll need a nice capture card which are a couple hundred bucks.
