He's joking but this is a good indicator of what type of coach the team has. If a coach is good there are usually at least some rumors about a team possibly poaching him.

Ok, but I don't think this applies to a 56 year old head coach with a record of 30–32. He is ours for the long haul. Get on board, don't get on board but there is no train leaving this station for three years.

I bet Meyer, Harbaugh, Saban, Dabo, Herman, Smart, among others will not be rumored anywhere. I get your point, but it's not really an indicator. But yea if O was unemployed right now he wouldn't get an offer still.

Maybe those genius ADs at the colleges that have openings, wanting or needing to get rid of their previous great coaching choices, don't recognize at great option when they see one. OK, we'll keep our idiot coach who has beaten Malzahn, Beleima, Sumlin, and McElwain. They can make their next great pick from all the great choices that are out there. Only time will tell if they have chosen wisely or not. Odds are against them, but we shall see.
