I was being sarcastic. I was in the craigslist boat for a bit, put 150k miles on a 99 corolla that I spent 1200 on. I drive a 2014 toyota now.

I have no problem running a vehicle till it dies. But when I replace them I replace them with something brand new and will drive that till it dies.
But I get it. Many people are car poor....house poor...etc. School should start teaching kids how to manage their finances.
