Yesterday was a very good day for Louisiana teams as in state schools went 2-0 overall and both wins over Big Ten teams.
LSU defeated Michigan in Maui by a score of 77-75. Tremont Waters led the way again for the Tigers as the freshman had 21 points in the victory. Aaron Epps, Duop Reath and Brandon Sampson all scored in double figures for the Tigers. LSU is now 3-0 this season.
ULL beat Iowa 80-71 in the Cayman Islands Classic. The Cajuns got a 15 point, 10 rebound effort from Bryce Washington to go along with double digit scoring efforts from Frank Bartley, JaKeenan Gant and Justin Miller. The Cajuns are now 3-1 this year.
Lots of state teams in action today.
LSU vs Notre Dame (Maui) - 9:30pm (ESPN)
Louisiana Tech vs George Mason (Cancun) - 5pm (CBSSN)
ULL vs Wyoming (Caymans) - 1:30pm (College Sports Live)
UNO @ Memphis - 7pm (WatchESPN)
Northwestern State @ ULM - 7pm
Southeastern @ Kent State - 6pm (WatchESPN)
Grambling @ Bethune-Cookman - 6pm
Good luck to all teams today.
