I had a sow in a 4'tall 6 trap, she scaled the damn thing to get out. Or at least that's my assumption. One trail cam pic she's in there, the next she ain't. No damage to the trap either.

It was a trap I threw together to catch a small sow under 100lbs so it's only 6' tall by 4' wide. I did put a top on it cause hogs will climb out in a heartbeat. I just drove 4 T-posts in the ground and wrapped it with 6' dog wire. For the gate I used 3/4" plywood. I drove in 2 more tposts about 3" away from the trap opening and slid the gate into the opening. I threw a rope over a limb and hoisted the gate open, ran the rope down thru top of trap to the trigger. I dug a hole under the trigger and filled with corn so when they root the corn out they spring the trigger and gate falls shut.
