There are some "credit scales" that go above 850. There aren't hard rules about these sorts of things, and the only thing that matters is what a particular lender decides he wants to weight as more important. There are literally dozens of different ways to calculate a credit score.
Knowing your arbitrary number is less important than knowing what is actually on your credit report.
