Well I’m in grad school in Louisiana and there’s more liberal thinking students. Significantly more than undergrad. Republicans aren’t furthering their education as much as liberals

Southerners have never valued education the way that New Englanders have. That’s part of it.
I wouldn’t call these people educated though. They aren’t well read. They don’t know history. They don’t know foreign languages. They see the world through the eyes of their own blinkered culture. They are incapable of understanding how the other thinks.
