People are confusing the word "report" with "sources." There could be 1,000 reports, but so far, they are all citing just one source--Chris Landry--who admittedly was not in any meetings himself. Therefore, by definition, the reports are unconfirmed. And Landry is an attention-whore who loves to hear himself talk. As such, I'm not sure he is as well connected as some might think. Why would anybody tell him anything juicy knowing he is going to go on every radio show in the south and his own podcast to shout it the minute it enters his ears?

That said, the meeting(s) could have happened. And if so, that's a fricking joke, and a sign of the wheels falling off.

Tombstone - great movie.

A little strong on the "attention whore", given he makes a living via media. Who isn't an attention whore in the media? People who aren't in the media business long, that's who.

Whether Alleva is watching film or not, it should be obvious to everyone that a head coach shouldn't need his AD to say what's what with the coordinators. That happened, in the real world, and it certainly doesn't bode well for the future of our staff (in terms of sticking around), nor for the future of LSU football (in terms of hiring new staff to fill the gaps). Wheels already coming off before any of this film room talk. IMO.
