I think that would be interesting but doubt they go back to that model after shutting down the U17 residency program

I wonder how much the talent wasteland between Bradley's age group and Pulisic is due to the formation of and transition to the development academy model

Let's hope the developmental model bears fruit. It relies on clubs continuing to put money into youth. I don't recall if clubs get a share of the transfer fee for players, but increasing that amount can incentivize player development.

In my honest opinion, I don't see how anyone could look across this country and think the regional academy model isn't the best option.
