But what is miserable about personal freedom while still getting laid and without a commitment?

There's nothing wrong with personal freedom. I exercise it every day. I just can't imagine having this attitude. There's nothing better, for me personally, than coming home to my wife and son every evening. I was speaking from my perspective. I was simply saying that I'm glad that I'm not a younger guy today. I enjoy the stability and commitment that my family gives me. I don't want to grow old alone. What is great for some is miserable for others.

I think most people would favor this lifestyle.

But, many have had to throw a pile of cash at attorneys while being drug through family court to avoid living in a cardboard box.

Because the wife was unhappy and was forced to sleep with someone else.

You're aware of today's marriage climate in assuming?

It's far more irrational to pursue a marriage than the other way around.

And I'm not saying the demise of the nuclear family is good for society either but it's hard to buy into a system that's so heavily against you
