This is correct. If more people would be courteous (even to the assholes) traffic will move a lot smoother. As a person who is on the road for most of the day, that is one of my biggest gripes. The next biggest is a driver who speeds up to cut in traffic to turn right, especially when there are breaks in traffic behind.
