If you watch the pilot, George is already George.
Meaning he's Larry David.
Everyone else took a while to grow. Jerry, Elaine, Kramer...they take a few seasons.
That just shows you how much the show was Larry David.
George carries the first few seasons.

Nope. Jason Alexander himself has admitted that he started out doing a version of Woody Allen as George. It wasn't until later that Alexander questioned a script, saying, "Nobody would do this stuff in real life". That's when Larry David said that HE was the George character in real life. Alexander said that from that day on, he played George as Larry David.
