The missed point is that there is not one geographic hot spot where these situations occur. It's universal and the race of the officer doing the shooting varies. As far as the socioeconomic argument goes, black children adopted into upper middle class white families still lag behind education wise and are represented in the DOJ numbers with little change. Obama administration did several studies on crime looking for unfair sentences, arrests, and targeted harassment. They probably did not like what the report said because systemic racism in courts was not to be found. Black judges actually sentenced blacks more harshly on many examples. My only personal opinion I will offer is that you can't talk about cops killing blacks without talking about the reciprocal. And those numbers shocked me when first viewed.
