flat tax of 17% with a $25,000 deduction for single $50,000 for joint filing.NO OTHER DEDUCTIONS.
a married couple making $100,000 would pay 17% of the remaining $50,000, for an effective rate of 8.5%
a married couple making $70,000 would pay 17% of the remaining $20,000, for an effective rate of 4.86%
a married couple making $200,000 would pay 17% of the remaining $150,000, for an effective rate of 12.8%
income is income, doesn't matter how it is made it is taxed the same
