I think if we clean up the completely blown assignments

On offense, when we block it correctly, that tends to be an positive play. Our running production is down - under 5 yards per carry. At this point, I would open it up and run shotgun - not necessarily with tempo - but shotgun sets. Heck, you can run out of them, particularly on 1st down - CEH is made for that. And if they load the box and you're in the shotgun with 3 wides, you ought to be able to hit a quick slant or quick out with timing.

Defensively, we have to get better overall play out of the dline and better tackling from the backers and DBs - assignment wise, we're doing "okay" on defense with the young players, we're just having trouble finishing plays since Chatt. We're getting some pressure on the QBs, but MSU and Cuse got the ball out so quickly, pressure didn't help as much as we would like.

If the line cannot block there really is not much to do to compensate. LSU will suffer (losses). They looked awful against Syracuse and MSU. Just awful. Another Miles legacy.
