They will probably end up in Alabama

"Preis also showed them other locations but says the deal ultimately fell through. He says he later learned that Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Birmingham, Alabama, were among the 20 or so other cities Amazon was mulling for the facility, and that Baton Rouge lost out because of its inadequate infrastructure, poor education system and relatively small airport."
Inadequate infrastructure??? Baton Rouge is home to the I-10's most spectacular and well thought-out artery known as the I-10 Mississippi River Bridge!!!! It is the 19th controlled traffic area in the US by American Transportation Research for Trucks. Surely Amazon didn't factor this into their site selection process.
Poor education system???? Scottlandville has one of the best educational systems in the Country. Scottlandville Magnet High School boasts 2.9% on the US News college readiness index, 48% of the students are proficient in English, and a stunning 31% are proficient in Mathematics!!!! This is the Research Triangle of Louisiana.
Small airport? Amazon certainly hasn't done their homework because Baton Rouge Airport is as close to a Hub as you can get without actually being a Hub. It is home to 4 direct Non-stop Cities (Houston, Dallas, Charlotte, AND Atlanta) with the 3 largest airlines (Delta/United/American) in the US servicing Baton Rouge.
This Amazon move screams racism to me because Baton Rouge has SWB at the helm pure and simple. You have to be an idiot to think otherwise.
