it is like they are holding back not trying to get hurt or hurt somebody else. it is not the same game it used to be but it is safer for the players

The NFL is completely oversatured. Football season used to feel special, but the NFL's policy of trying to be in people's lives 12 months a year is backfiring.
NFL never goes away. The draft, training camp, preseason, games on Thursday, Sunday, Monday, it has a numbing effect.
The product on the field is also completely sterile and corporate.
The business aspect of pro football has crushed the competitive sport aspect. There used to be a much healthier balance.
College football still has genuine emotion and passion in it.
