I quit them over 10 years ago. Back then on many issues they had a slightly left leaning but surprisingly firearm friendly position as seen in the Punisher. They have now gone full far left and it shows.

Like killing off Wolverine, character that bankrolled them in like 9 movies and was a major character in a number of books, for a cheap female knockoff clone, turning Iron Man from Anthony Stark into a teenage black girl, killing off Bruce Banner and replacing him with an Asian kid, making Ice Man and Colosuss gay, making Ms. Marvel a teenage Pakistani Muslim, and the list goes on.

One reason we see this IMHO, is comic creators couldn't make a successful "minority" character without stereotyping them. Some characters like Blade, a black guy, was successful because his color didn't define him or his story, just his appearance. So they started making established characters with different gender, sexual orientation and race. Prime example would be Nick Fury being turned into a black guy.


Marvel like a lot of leftists think diversity is color, gender and sexual orientation not the values and beliefs. Its like having the same candy bar with a different wrapper. That's not diversity. Diversity is when you're dealing with some one with a completely different mindset.
