The ESPNW actively promoted the anti-Trump women's march the day after the Inauguration. Doesn't get more political than that.
ESPN needs to take a step back and figure out that sports is supposed to be an escape from reality. There are a lot of good, hard working people out there and they aren't evil because they think transgenders aren't heroes or that Serena Williams wouldn't crack the Top 100 rankings if she played men. When you fire the conservatives for making mistakes but not the liberals, it's obvious there is a bias and that pisses people off. They can say they aren't political but when you give Michael Sam & Bruce Jenner awards for heroism and equate their struggles to Jackie Robinson, you are clearly being political. ESPN can be coy about it but it's obvious they have no problem wrapping themselves in politics.
Politics has bled over into everything in our society and that's part of the problem.
