Just got around to seeing the Last Jedi

Spoilers below (I have limited pics I can show)

Obvious nods to duality

Lots of focus on eyes (left = sinister):

The scene where Rey and Ren “connect” is steeped with symbolism. Light shines through a triangular defect in Rey’s stone hut (she later blasts this opening). The light hits the right side of her face..,

Concurrently:



Artificial light illuminates his left side...

Phasma (chrome storm trooper) has her defect made in her helmet exposing her left eye...


Lots of pyramids/triangles (see movies posters)



Triangle shape over the 3rd eye



In the movie, this ship looks like a pyramid when viewed straight on from the front.
