bought my wife a brand new Limited in 99. Those were the roughest riding bastids Ive ever ridden in. It rode so bad, we sold it with 14k miles on it. Shes driven a Camry every since, normally gets a new one every 2 years, tried to talk her into getting another 4Runner last year, she said hell no.

My bride sometimes complains that her Limited '13 rides rough. We just went on vacation in August and rented a Limited Explorer for 2 weeks. We drove up the coast of Maine so were in it for hours at a time. It had more bells and whistles, but that piece of shite rode like a derailed train compared to her 4Runner and the seats were like plywood. Plus woke up one morning to a dead battery in it. She hated it.
She hasn't complained about hers since being home.
