You don't think Arkansas or another team would hire Coach Eaux?

He took over a USC team that had gone 4-7 in their last 11 and was 3-2 on the season with wins against Utah State, Boston College and Hawaii and losses to Washington State and Arizona State who scored 60 something points. USC was unranked at the time. When the season was done they were ranked and headed to a bowl game with a win against the #4 team in the country. Yeah, nobody would want to hire him.

He took over an LSU team that had gone 4-5 in their last 9 games and was 2-2 on the season. LSU was unranked at the time. When the season was over LSU was ranked and kicked arse against the # 13 team in the country in a bowl game. Yeah, nobody would want to hire him.

Every team has done so much better than USC and LSU with Coach Eaux at the helm. The amazing thing is why couldn't the coaches he replaced do it?
