The funny thing about reparations is you just have to go back one step in the process of slavery and you arrive at the black Africans who enslaved and sold nearly 100% of the Africans sent over hear. The European slavers where middle men. The practice of selling other Africans into slavery was universal among West African tribes. Pretty much all current African Americans are descendent from these same tribes, so if they want to get reparations from the ancestors of those who originally profited from depriving their own ancestors of freedom, they need look no farther than their neighbor. Pretty much every black person in the us has a slaver for an ancestor
The problem with them asking the African tribes for reparations will be the fact that the entire continent of Africa is a shite hole. There are no structures built by the indigenous people of Africa that will last through a good rain storm. Mud huts and used sheet tin. Cardboard boxes and old pallets. (Egypt has structures that will last but they are not what most people equate with an African American).
I had a black coworker who once said she was glad that someone put her ancestors in chains because any one living in America is better off that 99.5% of the people living in Africa. She was right. That was back in the early 90's. She died earlier this year at the age of 84.
