Actually thought the same a few times 
I was reading how Alex is caught up in more controversy due to possibly being caught on video shooting a shark. There's no way this show lasts more than a season

There's just no way Alex comes back for another show or season (if renewed).
The whole "player" thing must be really trumped up for the show because dude has as much personality and charisma a fricking piece of driftwood. Maybe he is, but the chick perspective post had him as a douche juts like all of us thought.
Next season will probably the called "South Beach" or "The Sands" or something when once they trim the fat on the cast and relocate them to Miami.
