Frank Wilson happened to N. LA.

Between 2010-2015 (Frank's tenure as recruiting coordinator) LSU signed a total of 10 North LA kids over those 6 years. I used anything above Alexandria to define "N. LA".

By contrast...the 3 years prior to Wilson (2007-2009) yielded 12 N. LA kids alone.

So an average of 4 per class compared to 1.7 per class under Frank.

He was a New Orleans guy...and did a fine job there. N. LA was not as much of a priority under him.

Then in '16 under O LSU apparently spent more resources up there and got 5 from N. LA (if you count Layton Garnett).

Last year's class was a total whiff with 0. I know they missed out on Mathis, but can't remember anyone else off the top left of my head.

And in '18 LSU is on pace to sign 7-8 even without Bolden.

Who have we lost though Solo that's worth a damn besides Cam Robinson? Those Ruston boys go to LSU if they are good enough to play there. We lost Hootie Jones and gained Jamal Adams. I'll take that trade all day.

My whole point is if you don't want to be a LSU Tiger then good luck unless you play us. I just don't think the talent has been outstanding up there. Pretty good high school ball up that way but it's been awhile since a Kyle Williams, Bradie James or Whitworth has come out of that region.
