IMO, just pay your taxes and be a self-sufficient adult, and you may put your pee pee in whatever gendered consenting adult you wish (marry them, too).
You're not providing any evidence that homosexuals are more likely to be pedophiles - just stereotyping.

Pedophilia is sexual attraction to prepubescent children. These priests are going after mostly teen males. Empirically, there is not a problem with pedophilia in the catholic clergy, there is a problem with homosexual activity.
