The big difference is that the interred Japanese affected were directly paid by the government, rather than their descendants 150+ years later.

I was born in 1986 and I had jack shite to do with Jim Crow (and my family didn't move to the south until 1983, so they didn't either). frick that shite if you think I should be financially responsible for that.
