You might try reverse psychology. Don't ask her what you should do, tell her you are going to skip the game. Maybe she'll tell you straight up she wants you to go to the game.
Basically if you decide to go to the game it's not ok, but if she decides you should go to the game then everything is fine.

Either that, or tell her you agreed to be the designated driver. That way it looks like you're being a responsible adult and not just trying to skip out on the hospital to go have a good time.
