How so? What problems will arise that are comparable to other intoxicants? Which intoxicants are you comparing it to?

What other intoxicants are legal in our society? I'm talking about alcohol. Mild stimulants such as nicotine and caffeine don't have comparable short-term effects. Of course both of those have problems, too, but that's an argument for a different time.

You don't get as much violence with cannabis versus alcohol. However, you do get demotivational syndrome. You're going to have a lot more folks growing shite to share in a permissive environment. That's going to cause problems with potency, toxicity, civil liability for that kind of stuff. There is also the issue of regulating folks operating motor vehicles high AF. There is no good test for determining levels so that's going to be very difficult for law enforcement to keep stoners from driving high.

There are few studies about the long term effects of heavy marijuana use, but I assure you those won't be pretty either.
