Teach your children the same values you were taught and encourage your black friends to do the same. I believe poor parenting and lack of values is the core of the problem. As far as helping others I'd say the best idea is to start with the young ones and stick with them to keep them in the right direction, but again this won't work if the second they go home all values are put to the wayside.
