Is this the official discussion thread? If so then I'll state again, the hype was real. As another poster mentioned the lack of character development did not negatively affect me caring about them. If you need a reason to care about someone in a historical war movie when we know who the good guys are then idk what to tell you
The main gripe with past Nolan movies is that he tends to go a bit overboard and too long on the runtime, this movie did not do that. It left me wanting more in a good way
Awesome movie, go see this in theaters in IMAX or 70mm IMAX if you're lucky to have one close by

Yeah, the lack of character development didn't bother me one bit. I thought it awesome. Watching it in IMAX was just an amazing experience.
