Craig still wasn't someone he hand picked to be on his own staff and he was going to name someone as his replacement, Craig happened to be that guy. I guess a person could also look at it like Orgeron made a bad choice in naming his replacement, since he fired him and all.

That and the fact that LSU had a Juco WR committed since the previous year and the whole staff, Craig included, was blindsided on national signing day with the news that the guy was not and could not become qualified. Craig was fired the next day.
