Maybe a few individual districts. As a whole, Mississippi might be even worse than Louisiana.
Zachary and Central are okay in Baton Rouge. Magnets are very good. West Felicianac Ascension and Livingston are okay. West Baton Rouge is borderline but improving. Pointe Coupee is atrocious but may improve to merely "sub-par" in the next few years. St Helena and Ibberville are bad.

Ascension is a pretty good place to live in my opinion as long as you don't move to Donaldsonville. Great public schools over here and you can drive to BR everyday to work. Cheap, good schools and a good standard of living. If you do want to move out of Louisiana, I'd probably say Texas
