For me it is the opposite. I was always an intense Auburn fan and a casual Saints fan that enjoyed watching games but never hoped for too much.
After Auburn won a title in 2010 my interest in college football has died down quite a bit. I still enjoy the individual matchups like beating Bama, LSU and so on, but am not longer consumed when a lose occurs like the season is over.
But the Saints have become my passion.
