I've never seen posters worry about games that might not happen. Worry about Friday damnit.

That's just silly. This isn't a "one game at a time" situation because LSU has to win both of the next 2 games and then 2 out of the next 3, and the pitching decisions in each game affect the available pitching options in the remaining games. If we only worried about Friday then obviously we would start Lange with Gilbert and Hess in relief - and then probably lose badly on Saturday. Speculating on things like how to get 45 innings worth of pitching over a 6-day period down a starter is the reason sports message boards exist.

4 days rest for your starting pitcher is kind of the golden rule.

MLB starters pitch on 4 days rest. 3 days is considered short rest.

Fri - Lange
Sat - Gilbert - both of these have already been announced.

Monday Game 1 - Poche
Tuesday Game 2 - TBD / Johnny Wholestaff
Wednesdy Game 3 - Alex Lange

THE ONLY WAY Alex Lange pitches Game 2 on 3 days rest (assuming we've made it this far) is if he begs CPM to give him the ball and we've already lost Game 1.
