It's time to go bye.
If you look at California.
If you took the Navy out of San Diego and Army out of FT Irwin those areas would lose a lot of income.
Most of the businesses in California that produce a good or service are leaving going to Arizona or elsewhere. Movie industry in California is even hurting. The taxes and regulations in blue states are chasing businesses away to red states.

You see about 3 states, two of which are conservative. Orange County is one of the most conservative places in America. The Valley is agricultural Mecca. The mountains and woods north of Nappa all the way to Oregon already think of themselves as Jefferson - the 51st state. The reasons it's such a blue state are the Bay Area, the Los Angels basin minus Orange County, and to a lesser extent, San Diego. Essentially, just the coast. If California ever broke away it would then break up, and in the process, Los Angeles would lose its water supply, which is piped in clear across the state. Would be hilarious.
