If Poche were to start game 3 and lose, it really puts LSU in a hole come the championship series. You will have started Lange on Saturday and then run him back out there on 3 days rest come Wednesday. I just think it's an unnecessary risk all the way around. Lange can start Friday and safely comeback and start the game 3 Wednesday.
You realize that if we lose the first two games of the championship series there is no game three, right?
