I'd go with the UE Megaboom or the UE Boom. Great for indoors, even better for outdoors and the battery lasts forever on just 1 charge. They sound pretty darn good too and can even be paired for a stereo sound.

I personally have 1 megaboom and use it outdoors all the time. My daughter loves to throw it in the pool and it still works.
