I don't think anyone has that strong of an opinion on LSU academics. I'm sure they recognize certain colleges as superior academically if you were to throw out names like Stanford, Northwestern, Michigan, but I think if compared to other schools like Clemson, Arizona State, Iowa, etc people would have no idea what national schools are better or worse.
