The Peppermill is a great place for a cheap meal. It's toward the end of the strip; closer to Wynn. It's an institution. Hash House A Go-Go is one of our go to's when we are in LV as well. Huge servings for a decent price.
If you want something nicer, Charlier Palmer Steak House runs a pre-fixed special each week. Usually around $60 for a 4-course meal WITH bottomless wine pairing.
Therapy on Freemont Street isn't a bad spot for lunch or an early dinner. The prices won't kill you and you'll get a good meal.
