This situation and story are awful and I have no idea what will happen. My guess is he won't pitch again in college (and maybe not at all).
These threads always devolve into people trying to one-up each other on how much they are against sexual molestation of kids. Every single rational person is against this and thinks it is horrible. Just because someone doesn't think this guy should get the death penalty does not mean they support him in any way but that is what these threads turn into. The irony is that when people try to prove how against this they are they end up typing things like:
This is not supporting people who are victims of pedophilia. You are communicating that what they have experienced, that you even acknowledge is something many of them have challenges coming to grips with, is worse than being dead.
This is not the only statement in this thread that has done this. It should not be a controversial statement to say that it is objectively worse to be cut up and eaten then being this person's victim. And saying that does not take away acknowledgment that both situations are horrible.
