Not to sound like a jerk, but why did you even let him apply to the school if he wanted to play baseball?

He wants to go to BR High. First and foremost. He is willing to sacrifice baseball. He is a decent player and would likely start at Catcher in his sophomore year where he is at. He wouldn't sniff the field at a school like Catholic though. We realize that. Just running some traps to see if there is any way to play ball somewhere. If not, so be it.

He can't go to BR High and play baseball at another high school, public or private. Whatever school he enrolls in as a 9th grader is "school of 1st choice". Any enrollment at another school after that will result in sitting out a year, public or private. UNLESS, there is a bonafide move by the parents or one of the parents due to divorce, death of parent, etc.
