Here's an example of why I think ESPN sucks that doesn't relate to politics as much, but culture. I missed the first half of the first round of the draft and came across this video lsst week when I was trying to find a video of Fournette getting announced.
This kind of betrays the point of the OP article a little bit, since Shapiro is who brought Smith in there, but I think it's worth pointing out that this is type of silliness Espn has doubled down on. It's fine until Clark stops his initial spiel around 0:40. But after that, honestly, what is that shite? It would be kind of funny in isolated circumstances, but this to me is the norm for ESPN. How can I watch that and pretend that is good insight? How can a moderately educated person relate to that garbage?
