The questions were for his girlfriend. Coach asked Foster to put his girlfriend on the line so he could ask her some questions. Kinda makes it even more bizarre.

Wow that is bizarre. Maybe it was to catch them off guard and see if her answers matched up with some of his trying to see of they could catch him in a lie or if he was truthful.
