When Ed Orgeron was picked as interim head coach at usc both coordinators had been at usc for a total of 4 games.
When he was chosen to be lsu's head coach fave aranda had been on the job for 4 games. Ed orgeron was the only choice.

so the answer is no - when you say only someone with little football knowledge would comment on the difficulty of running a football program the size and scope of LSU and USC for 8 games each you actually are the one with dick zero experience.
